Sideboard and Storage Cabinet Assembly in Scarborough
This Scarborough project involved assembling a large modular sideboard and storage cabinet made up of several connected sections. The unit included cabinet doors, multiple drawers, and woven storage baskets, all of which needed to be assembled and aligned so the finished piece would look and function as one cohesive unit.
CanRenovation organized the individual panels, hardware, and storage components before assembly began. Because the sideboard extended across several sections, consistent alignment was important from the start to keep the cabinet faces, drawer banks, and top surface even from one end to the other.
Preparing the Modular Furniture Sections
Each section of the sideboard was assembled individually before being brought together into the final layout. The cabinet panels were squared during assembly so the doors and drawers would have a stable and properly aligned structure.
Hardware and connection points were checked as the work progressed to prevent small alignment differences from becoming more noticeable once the separate sections were placed side by side.
Assembling Cabinets, Drawers, and Storage Components
