Queen Bed Assembly Project in North York
This North York project involved replacing an existing single bed with a new queen bed frame that included two built-in storage drawers. The work covered both disassembly of the old bed and complete assembly of the new frame during the same visit.
CanRenovation first cleared the room by taking apart the existing bed frame, then organized the components and hardware for the new queen bed before beginning assembly.
Disassembling the Existing Bed Frame
The existing single bed frame was taken apart so the room could be prepared for the larger queen bed. The components were removed from the immediate work area before the new assembly began.
Completing the disassembly first created enough space to build and position the replacement bed frame accurately.
Assembling the New Queen Bed Frame
The new queen bed frame was assembled section by section according to its hardware and connection points. The main frame components were aligned and secured before the storage drawer system was completed.
The assembled frame was checked for level and stability so the structure sat evenly in its final position.
Installing and Aligning the Storage Drawers
The bed included two built-in storage drawers, which required the drawer rails and moving components to be positioned and aligned correctly.
After installation, each drawer was opened and closed several times to confirm smooth movement and to make sure the drawer fronts sat properly within the bed frame.

The completed project replaced the old single bed with a fully assembled queen bed frame and two functional storage drawers.
