Sections of damaged drywall joint tape were removed, and the existing cracks were opened and prepared to ensure proper adhesion of the repair materials. New drywall tape was installed where required, followed by two coats of plaster to rebuild the damaged sections and create a smooth, consistent surface. Once the plaster had dried, the repaired areas were carefully sanded and blended with the surrounding ceiling. Three-Coat Ceiling Painting Fortunately, the homeowner still had the original ceiling paint available, eliminating the need for additional colour matching or purchasing new paint. After completing the plaster repairs and surface preparation, three coats of ceiling paint were applied to restore a clean and consistent appearance throughout the affected areas. Completed in Two Visits – Ready for the Birthday Celebration Despite the tight deadline, CanRenovation completed the entire ceiling repair and painting project in just two visits. The work included removing damaged material, replacing loose drywall tape, repairing cracks, applying two coats of plaster, sanding, and finishing with three coats of paint.
